Welcome to Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science & Technology University   With the heartiest effort of eminent education endeavour Mirza Azam MP and as a part of the implementation of the commitments of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and according to her direction, an initiation has been taken to establish a specialized university in Jamalpur District. As a result, Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University is established on 28 November 2017 vide act no 24 of 2017 as the 44th public university of Bangladesh. The Honorable Chancellor of the University and President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh appointed Professor Dr. Md. Kamrul Alam Khan as the Vice Chancellor. Professor Dr. Md. Kamrul Alam Khan, joined as the Vice Chancellor of Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University on 12 December 2022. Although a new university yet under the dynamic leadership of the Vice Chancellor, the university has achieved remarkable milestones not only in academic, administrative and financial activities also in observing various national days including the birthday of Bangamata and sports and cultural activities. The Government has sanctioned 500 Acres of land located in Malancha of Melandaha Upajela of Jamalpur District on which the university authority has planned to construct infrastructure for secured campus with modern educational facilities and high standard research environment surrounded by natural beauty.
